Carbon zero house

The aim of the project is to not only have a beautiful, functional, comfortable home.

But to also design a home that not only

- produces more power than it uses over the year through careful appliance selection 

and photovoltaic integration.

But to also consider and calculate the embodied carbon in all

materials selected and put on enough extra photovoltaic panels 

to pay back the home’s entire carbon debt by 2050.

Challenge ACCEPTED!

Concept designs have been completed.

Currently sitting at a 8.9 star NatHERS rating using the updated Firstrate 5 beta software.
